Yogurt, that wonder food (which I do not like)

When fruit yoghurts began to appear in stores, namely Danone, because he was benefiting from a lot of advertising at the time, I bought at least two daily. We did not eat everything, but it was supposed to be. It seemed to me a tragedy not to find with raspberries or strawberries, and that happened quite often. Nobody wanted the one with flavor and pieces of apricots, obviously. They were the only assortment available, besides natural yogurt with more or less fat. We considered him the ideal dessert, the little pamper immediately after school when I totally disconnected the first part of the day.

Up to a certain age, I've also used yogurt with fruits. And I did it daily. At one point, Milli, much more tasty and aromatic, with large pieces of fruit and more sugar. Then we do not realize the amount of ingested sugar present in all these colorful, fragrant, tasty foods. Later, perhaps because of my age, I started to be more careful. In the sense that ... if I wanted a sweet ... DULCE, I had it. Just that. Foods with hidden ingredients I said goodbye (eg ketchup).

I tried to make yogurt with fruit, as some nutrition specialists teach us on TV or magazines. I bought a big box of natural yoghurt, strawberries and brown sugar. Using a fork, we strawberries in a plate, over which I added the brown sugar and let it dissolve in the strawberry paste. In the yogurt of the box we mixed this paste until it turned into a beautiful and aromatic pink. I further transferred it to two bottles of glass / jars, leaving them in the fridge for at least 20-30 minutes.

I told you something good must come out of it, it's healthy. Unfortunately it was not like that. A few minutes after I consumed it I was simply sick. The taste is not the same, and the fresh fruit mixed in yoghurt, anything other than bananas, is not the happiest combination for the stomach. One, I did not do well.



Today I eat yogurt with fruit very rarely, several times a year. For the home trained I have two special recipes with no fresh fruit besides bananas, which are ok. It is important that yogurt be of good quality, that is to say contain probiotics, live and active cultures - otherwise (almost) we buy it for nothing. There are lots of assortments and we can be easily tricked. Probiotics are bacteria similar to those present in the intestinal flora. This helps restore the intestinal flora destroyed by unbalanced eating.

Recipe 1 - Yogurt in two colors - We need Greek yoghurt, strawberry jelly, vanilla.

Yogurt is divided into two equal amounts. One part is mixed with jelly and the other part with the seeds of a vanilla pods or a little natural vanilla extract.


Recipe 2 - Desert yogurt - We need Greek yoghurt, a spoonful of peanut butter, a very ripe banana, poultry and two bitter chocolate squares.

Mix yoghurt with peanut butter until it is homogenized, paste the banana and add it with the chopped chocolate.

I was saying in the title of the article that I do not like yogurt. However, I can not not recognize the benefits that I have every time I remember to consume it regularly at breakfast. At least a period. If we add some honey to it, a few raisins, crunchy mussels, bitter chocolate, oats, corn flakes, as if we otherwise accept it.
